Andhra Pradesh teachers Eligibility Test APTETAndhra Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test (APTET) 2016 are Conducted by The Government of Andhra Pradesh and it’s also known as Andhra Pradesh TET in short APTET. Andhra Pradesh TET is for the candidates who are willing to become a primary school teachers specifically (class I -V) and upper primary (VI-VIII) schools in the state of Andhra Pradesh. APTET Examination will be conducted with two paper (Paper – I , Paper – II) Candidates who are looking to grab this opportunity have to perform very well.


APTET 2016 Examination Notification will be released by the Department of Schools And Education, Andhra Pradesh OR concerned examination board as directed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Andhra Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test is a compulsory examination for all the Candidates who have been foe qualified B.Ed. And they will get little considered for teacher jobs in schools which is run by the government and private managements of Andhra Pradesh.

AP TET Qualification :

The candidates at the time of applying for APTET, should be in possession  of  the  minimum  qualifications  prescribed  for  a  teacher  for  I  to  V  classes  (Paper-I) and VI to VIII classes (Paper-II)

The  candidates  who  are  pursuing  final  year  of  any  of  the  Teacher  Education  Courses  recognized  by  the  NCTE  or  the  RCI,  as  the  case  may  be,  and  /  or  the  Language  Pandit  Training  Courses,  during  the  academic  year  2012-2013  can  also  appear for the APTET September, 2013.

However it is clarified that appearance or a pass in APTET by itself will not vest  any  right  in  a  candidate  to  be  considered  for  appointment  to  the  post  of  Teacher  in Government / Zilla Parishad  / Mandal Parishad  /  Municipal and Private Aided Schools, unless he  is in  possession  of the qualifications prescribed for appointment to such post  in the relevant statutory recruitment rules framed by State Government from time to time  as on the date prescribed there in for possession of such qualifications

APTET Exam Date:

CTET 2016 exam is going to conduct on 21 February 2016 and 18 September 2016. CTET scores will release in March 2016 for CTET Feb and in October for CTET Sept Approximately 9 lac applicants appear for the examination.

  • Duration : 2Hour:30 Minute

Structure and Content (All Compulsory and Includes 30 Question and 30 Marks Total : 150 Questions)

  3. Language II (English)

  5. Environmental Studies


Paper II (for classes VI to VIII)

  • No of Question : 150
  • Type : MCQ
  • Duration : 2 Hour:30 Minute
  1. Child Development & Pedagogy (compulsory) — (30 Questions)
  2. Language I (compulsory)  — (30 Questions)
  3. Language II (compulsory)  — (30 Questions)
  4. Mathematics and Science OR Social Studies  — (60 Questions)


 Paper II Science & Mathematics sectors questions
